What is the purpose of the California AIr resources board (CARB) clean truck check?
CARB and the DMV are requiring strict emissions testing for on road vehicles starting 2024.
CARB’s HD I/M Clean Truck Check testing is meant for 2x a year testing for any diesel and alternative fueled truck over 14,000 lbs.
The due date for your truck depends on your truck VIN and CARB will inform the DMV whether your test was a pass/fail OR if you have missed the due date.
This can result in heavy fines so don’t let this problem slow down the time to your next route. But not anyone can just provide this service!
